| Jenna-Purrz is
a small cattery located near Wilmington, NC. We specialize in tabby, solid
and bicolor Persians. We have been a CFA registered cattery since 1999. Our
cats live with us in our home and are an integral part of our family. We both
work full-time to support our hobby - providing only the best food, environment
and veterinary care possible. Our goal is to raise healthy kittens with great personalities meeting the Persian standard. Health and temperment are top priorities in our breeding program. Our cats are tested negative for FELV and FIV and also DNA negative for PKD by the Veterinary Genetics Laboratory at UC Davis. We believe the responsible breeding of pedigreed cats is of value to society in order to preserve the characteristics of each breed. We wish to offer others the privelege of sharing their lives with these precious purebreds. They offer a lifetime of love, beauty and companionship. While our main purpose is to produce kittens of show quality, we will occasionally have pet quality kittens or retired adults available to loving homes. Our kittens do not leave our home until they are at least 12 weeks old and have had their first vaccinations. We screen potential adoptive families to ensure each cat or kitten is matched to the best-suited environment. Each cat or kitten placed as a pet is neutered/spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this policy. We are members of two CFA Cat Clubs - Carolina Sophisticats and Tarheel Triangle Cat Fanciers. We are also active volunteers for CFA's Breed Rescue Program in the Southern Region. When we learn of purebred cats in need of rescue or at risk of euthanasia at a shelter, we coordinate all aspects of getting them to safe facility until they can be adopted into loving homes. If you are interested in adopting a specific breed and would like to adopt a purebred rescue, please contact us. It took many years of breeders working to produce our fine pedigreed Persians of today. We are thankful for all those breeders before us, as their work has enabled us the privelege of working with and being owned by this distinctive breed. David & Jennifer
